You might not know this about me, but I worked in history for a long time. I’m drawn to old spaces, places that have a story to tell. Sometimes that story isn’t good, but it still draws you in. And that’s exactly how WestWind Estate, a Greenville wedding venue, feels. You might not know the story right away, but you can certainly feel it when you drive onto the property over the old, white, single-lane bridge.
But I’ll tell you a bit of her story. WestWind was built in the early 1900s by an architect who fell in love with the charm of the South. It started as a family home and saw generations of love. So it’s beautiful that it can continue to stand proudly a part of people’s love stories as a wedding venue.
With it’s tall oak trees and beautiful gardens (and the pool out back!), WestWind Estate makes for the perfect Greenville Wedding Venue.

To be clear, WestWind is not actually in Greenville, SC. It’s located just 30 minutes East in Spartanburg. While that might be enough to turn some people away, I think it makes it even better. You’re away from the hustle and bustle of the city, outside of the noise of traffic so your wedding or elopement day in Greenville can be peaceful and calm. However, 30 minutes is not a long distance, so if you want to get into the city, it’s just a quick beebop away!

The venue boasts of six beautiful bedrooms with bathrooms, a pool room, a banquet hall, a pool, and so much outdoor space. You’ll never be lacking in this venue.

You can say I Do in nature. I’m a big overplanner and highly recommend having a backup plan in the event of inclement weather. Luckily for you, WestWind estate has a beautiful covered porch that would allow you to still be outside while staying safe from the elements.
