I'm a photographer, based in South Carolina, who specializes in elopements and micro-weddings. You can usually find me hanging with my big mutt or out exploring. I'm also a big nerd, and indulge in several fandoms like Dr. Who, Harry Potter, Star Trek AND Star Wars (I know, blasphemy to love them both). You'll also see the occasional travel post sprinkled in as well, as I try to get out of the country as much as possible, and love to visit the nation's state parks.

I studied Fine Art Photography at the University of Colorado at Boulder, many...many years ago, and it was there that I really found a love of weddings! From there, I went on to work in a commercial studio. I spent some time living abroad in South Korea, working for a publishing company and came back to work in corporate marketing and event planning in Charleston. In 2020, I finally took the leap and Jenni Lauren Photography was officially born.
Outside of weddings, I photograph maternity, engagements, and unique branding experiences.

I am also recently married! My husband and I eloped in the mountains and then had a beautiful ceremony surrounded by most of our favorite people. So, believe me when I say, I understand the emotional roller coaster that is wedding planning (and the desire to have a wedding that's just for you)! My best advice is to do what you want. Everyone is going to come out of the woodwork to offer their advice, and people will be insulted if you don't invite them - but that's on them. Enjoy your day as you want it and savor every moment because it goes so fast! And that's what makes my job so worth it. I want to be there to capture those moments so you can look back on your day and remember exactly how you felt. I'm here to tell your story and I aim to show real, human emotion.
