If you've found your way here, you probably already know I’m Jenni, the photographer behind Jenni Lauren Photography, an elopement photography business based in Asheville, North Carolina. I serve couples eloping throughout the Carolinas and beyond, helping them plan intentional, experience-focused days that feel calm, meaningful, and true to who they are.
What you might not know? I'm a total coffee addict, though I won't say no to an afternoon Matcha. My dog, Buffett, is my whole world. I'm endlessly inspired to travel (thanks to a childhood spent moving around as an Army brat). Oh, and I'm a massive nerd. Not the "just-watched-all-the-Marvel-movies" kind, but the "I sew my own costumes and spend hours lost in books" kind.

I studied photography at the University of Colorado Boulder, where I discovered my love for capturing weddings. After graduating, I honed my skills working in a commercial studio, then spent some time living abroad in South Korea, where I worked for a publishing company. When I returned to the States, I landed in Charleston and dove into the world of corporate marketing and event planning. In 2020, I took a leap of faith, and Jenni Lauren Photography was born.
My Story
I'm also happily married. My husband and I eloped in the mountains and later had a beautiful ceremony surrounded by most of our favorite people. So I want you to believe me when I say, I completely understand the emotional rollercoaster that is wedding planning.
My best advice to you as a bride is to do what you want and savor every moment because it goes fast! And that's one of the reasons I love my job. I'm here to preserve your story just as you want to tell it.
