Whether you’re a devoted espresso enthusiast or just looking for a cozy spot to unwind, Greenville’s coffee scene is brimming with charm, creativity, and seriously good brews. From industrial-chic roasteries to tucked-away cafés that feel like a warm hug, the city offers a perfect cup for every kind of coffee lover. In this guide, I’m spotlighting seven of the very best coffee shops in Greenville, places where community, craft, and caffeine come together in the most delicious way.
And trust me, as a Greenville photographer, I’m always grabbing coffee at the nearest spot.
This coffee shop has two locations, one in the heart of downtown Greenville and one in Greer, South Carolina. Both boast of immaculate vibes from checkered tile floors and gothic-inspired bookshelves, this is the place to be. The staff is always kind and coffee is always good.
This coffee shop has an added bonus of also having some of the best ice cream in town. It is located right on the Falls at Reedy, so you can’t have a better location. Because of this, it does get crowded however. The interior has comfy lounge chairs, stone walls, and big windows. A dream photo location for a photographer.
3. Local Honey

Local Honey is more than a coffee shop, it feels like Japanese tea service wrapped inside of a cozy cafe. It’s located right on the Reedy River so you can walk the park or enjoy the views while you sip your coffee.
Third Place Coffeehouse feels like you’re grabbing coffee at your super chic grandma’s house. It boasts of grandma core decor, comfy vintage couches, and a baby grand to greet you when you walk in.
Cohesive feels like the hipster friend that is actually really down to earth. It’s welcoming, the baristas are always ready to share their stories, and it has the added benefit of being next door to the Greenville Humane Society.
6. Daydrinkers

Good luck grabbing a seat at Daydrinkers, it’s almost always packed (and for good reason). The coffee is good, the baristas are incredible humans, and the vibe is just immaculate. One of the baristas even let me help make a cinnamon heart on my latte.
7. Junto
The lighting in Junto is a photographer’s dream come true. The coffee is simple, perfect, and unpretentious. There is ample seating inside and out in their huge space, and they decorated with pops of pink which just scream to my little girl heart.
Whether you’re starting your morning with a bold pour-over, incorporating coffee into your elopement weekend, or simply seeking a little creative inspiration, Greenville’s coffee shops offer more than just great drinks, they’re spaces that invite connection, comfort, and a moment of pause.
