WHERE WEIRD MEETS
wild hearts.

Whether it's trekking up Craggy Gardens, pretending to iron your dress on The Iron, or sipping wine at a vineyard, I'm here to capture your best day ever (and keep it stress-free).

Like vintage vinyl, mountain air, and beers at sunset:
we’re the real, weird, wonderful deal.

Asheville elopement photographer

more about me

I'm here to preserve the quiet moments of your elopement: the wild joy, the quiet moments, and all the love you two have for each other.

But I'm more than your photographer, I'm your planning pro here to make your day as fun and stress-free as possible. I've got the best locations for the best views, and (very biased) brewery recommendations, and I know the absolute best vendors in Asheville.

Fun fact; The term "bunkum" comes from Buncombe County (which is the country in which Asheville is located. Bunkum means nonsense or empty chatter.

Hi, Friend

Photographer, planner, tour guide, and provider of random facts you didn't ask for.

You've decided to elope to avoid the planning that comes with a wedding only to find out that eloping still requires planning.
  • Luckily for you, you've found a weirdo who loves planning that will handle that for you.
Asheville is more than it's downtown scene.
  • But it seems like when you search, you only see downtown Asheville (and The Biltmore). Not on my watch! I'll be creating customized locations that match your vibe.
How many shoes is too many?
  • Hiking, photo opps, gardens, breweries,: these all might require different shoe choices! Which is why I provide packing lists and tips based on your customized plan (and potential weather).
700 comments on your Facebook post looking for an HMUA?
  • Asking the Internet for help is wildly overwhelming and unpredictable. But I've got that covered too: I will recommend some of the best, trusted vendors for your needs.

How it works.

FAQs

Absolutely! I have a cap of 20 people, and I do need to know a head count well in advance because this will potentially change the venue/locations to accommodate more people.
100% yes! I love all the pets! I will need to know in advance so that I can make sure to pick locations that are pet-friendly, and you'll have to be sure to follow the rules (keep pets on a leash, etc). I would even recommend hiring a dog walker to accompany you - I have some great ones I can recommend!
I recommend about 6 months before the date, this gives me enough time to plan and coordinate with other vendors.
Of course! I'm happy to make your dream day come true in a way that honors you and your interests! We will talk through all of that in our planning calls to make sure your day is all about you.
Of course! In fact, it’s highly encouraged! It’s your day, your way.
