Mingo Point, located on Kiawah Island, South Carolina boasts of marsh views and phenomenal sunsets. It has multiple oyster sheds, a large indoor space and a gorgeous dock for those sunset photos. It’s the perfect Lowcountry venue.
The couple booked condos with the Kiawah Village Resorts to get ready in. The resorts were right on the beach which made for perfect first looks.
Molly opted to have first looks with her bridesmaids, father, and with Ben, the groom. I chose different locations for each to keep the backgrounds diverse and to keep the the day moving forward.
The ceremony space is a little tight, but it makes for a perfect backdrop. Right next to this is an oyster shed, which is a great rain plan.
Remember – always have a rain plan.
This venue also allows you to bring your four-legged best friends and that’s always a welcome bonus in my book.
Molly and Ben did something I’ve never seen before for their formal exit – paper airplanes! It was super cute, but they did hurt when one hit me in the back of the head!
Congrats Molly + Ben!
